Birko-Flor® is a durable and very easy-to-clean synthetic material, but it is not completely waterproof.
However, it is hydrophobic: it handles a few drops of water, splashes, and light humidity well without getting damaged.
Please keep in mind that:
- the Birko-Flor upper is water-resistant;
- the Birkenstock sole and footbed are not designed for submersion or prolonged use in very wet environments.
In short: water-resistant, yes; waterproof, no. Perfect for daily use, but not for heavy rain or prolonged contact with water.
Are the Birkenstock Arizona Soft Footbed black sandals suitable for vegans?
Yes, Birkenstock Birko-Flor® sandals feature an upper that is completely free of animal-derived materials and represent a suitable choice for those who follow a vegan lifestyle. Can I return or exchange the Birkenstock Arizona Soft Footbed black sandals?
You have 14 days from receipt of your order to request a return or exchange for your Pli-Pla Friulane slippers.
The shoes must be unworn, in perfect condition, and returned in their original packaging, along with the purchase receipt.
Returns are free of charge, but the shipping costs for returning the merchandise remain the responsibility of the customer. We ask for this small consideration because, as a historic neighborhood shop, shipping costs significantly impact our work.
